Kregg Nurse Memorial Scholarship Award!

Each year, the Kregg Nurse Memorial Scholarship Award is presented to a disabled person who successfully completed at least one year of post-secondary school education, in any field. The awardee must also confirm the continuation of their formal education at a tertiary institution.

Since 2005, Caribbean Catalyst Inc. has spearheaded the selection and recognition of scholarship awardees in honour of Kregg Nurse. Nurse was a former employee of Ernst and Young who never allowed his disability to become an inability.

Ros Jackson, Managing Director of Caribbean Catalyst Inc. and former partner at Ernst & Young, was instrumental in hiring Kregg and recalled that when she met him in 1997, he was an amazing source of inspiration for her to “get more involved” in working with people who are differently abled.
